Occidental College and ADHD Collective pair up, and we are excited about it. We are absolutely thrilled to introduce Sally Weld as the newest member of our team!
Sally is currently a senior and studying Psychology at Occidental College. She will be our first intern here at ADHD Collective (but we know her as our fellow change-agent), and we’ve already made it a rule to never brainstorm with out her.
We not only benefit from her good ideas, but also her genuine care for people. As ADHD Collective continues to develop new ways to engage with culture, Sally will be contributing to our blog, so look out for her posts in the future!
How cool it is to get the opportunity to support her in her educational journey (Occidental College is such a wonderful part of the Los Angeles academic culture!). We look forward to sparking up and enriching the dialogue about ADHD here on our blog, as well as throughout the Occidental campus.
Sally has been a big support for the female youth population in the Los Angeles Unified School District, and a former advocate for in-patient adolescent females struggling with various mental health challenges. Her past experience adds to our culture, and we are proud to have her as part of ADHD Collective. Her approach is strengths-based and rooted in positive psychology.
